as somebody who sees good in both soialism and anarhism I am appalled by the divisions within the Irish peace movement and I wish to build as many bridges as possible between groups so that we an all unite on this issue and leave aside all our ideologial differences and not use this issue to score political points. There is no time for division..that is exactly what the capitalist imperialist war machine likes..they get scared when people UNITE. on saturday i have an idea to gather a small group of people together if anyone would like to join me at the GPO at 1:30pm; I will have some painted signs with the phrases "IF YOU DISAGREE" "WITH USING SHANNON AIRPORT FOR A WAR ON IRAQ" "JOIN US NOW" on themd (depending on how many we have we can paint this message on to several pieces of cardboard). We can walk with these as a group in single file with a single drummer down Henry Street, around Liffey St, over the Ha'penny Bridge,through Merchants Arch and depending on time and so on, maybe then onto fleet st, College Green, up Grafton St and back then to the Central Bank (all the time walking on footpaths when not in pedestrianised areas. The aim of this walk would be to raise consiousness of both the protest at the Embassy and the demo at Shannon on Sunday and maybe even gather more people who may not be around when we eventually leave the Central Bank. Hopefully we will have a single drummer to draw attention to what we are doing. I am making a flyer someone could also hand out asking shoppers and passers by to join us. Mayb this idea is completely crazy but if anyone thinks its a goer they can phone me Rob at 0879334394 see you at the Public meeting tonite or on saturday

Regarding Sat's demo, posters in UCD say gather at 2pm. If we wanna talk divisions, let's but at least get the time right...
