What does Anti-War mean?
A perennial question. War is always a bad thing - but is it always the
worst thing? I happen to think that the (NATO & its pals) attacks on
Yugoslavia/Serbia (while driven by very mixed motives) has largely
achieved its purpose. Yugoslavia is now a democracy and Kosovo has a
chance to sort its problems out without Milosovic's goons. Oh yes; and
Slobo is in the dock.
Sounds to me like the attacks achieved their aim.
While the massacre at Srebenica (spelling?) (while perpetrated by Serb
ultranationalist thugs) was allowed to happen mainly due to the
unwillingness of the Dutch (UN mandated) peace-keepers to remove their
hairnets & earn their pay - i.e. kill the bad guys..
