Response to What does Anti-War mean?

David chose to address the pragmatic issue of means & ends (I mentioned Kosovo & Srebenica). If he can find a Kosovar Muslim who regrets the (NATO & pals) intervention, I will be surprised. As to Milosevic's murder rate increasing after the intervention being an argument - well, hey; the guy beating your brother with a chair leg may whack him harder if you try to stop him - but once he is stopped, he is stopped. Again, ask the Kosovars what *they* think. I never said that everything is Kosovo is fine, I did say it is now up to the Kosovars to sort their own problems out. I notice that David ignored the much more challenging (for "violence is always wrong" folks) example of Srebenica & the shameful failure of the Dutch (UN-mandated) peace-keepers to act.
