Irish Neutrality??
2,000 foreign military aircraft in Irish airspace 18:45 Monday September

The Government granted nearly two thousand authorisations within a year for
foreign military aircraft to fly over Irish airspace. The Peace and
Neutrality Alliance (PANA) has obtained the figures under the Freedom of
Information act showing that the jets of 29 different countries used our
skies in the 11 months up to last July. Although the Palestinian Authority
as well as the US were two of the countries allowed to land military
aircraft here, PANA spokesman Roger Cole still insists this makes a mockery
of Irish neutrality. "If we are giving permission for flights through Irish
airspace and landings on Irish soil to military aircraft from foreign
countries who are waging war on civilians in other countries, it makes a
nonsense of the claim that we are militarily neutral," he said.
