Response to Late Late Show
Firstly, I didn't see the Late Late Show - because I never watch it. Secondly, I was at an IAWM campaign stall in Blanchardstown this afternoon, Saturday 11th, and people who came up to the stall mentioned the excellent anti war arguments made on the Late Late Show on TV so I don't know where you get the
"if I was an outsider looking in I would not have been impressed". You may not have been impressed but everyone I spoke to today who saw it was.
Around 35 people left their names to join up and get involved with the IAWM or to get details of forthcoming activities, protests etc. Many pages of petitions were signed by people anxious to voice their opposition to Bush/Blair's plans to attack Iraq and at the Irish Government's policy of letting the US military use Shannon as a warport. ACT NOW because when war breaks out it will become more difficult to counteract the lies/propaganda that will pour out in the media. Only an active mass movement in Ireland and in many other countries is likely to stop war!
