New York anti-war protest banned?

As of February 5th, the planned anti-war protest in NY had been refused permission by the police and the city council. Does anyone have any updates on this? is this still the position that they will not be alloowed to congregate or have the city authorities changed their mind? there's an online petition to Mayor Bloomberg at: http://www.petitiononline.com/FEB15/petition.html if anyone's interested
