just a quickie, taken from Paul Routledge of the Mirror. WITH a great flourish, Tony Blair claimed to have told Whitehall to prepare for his resignation before the Commons debate on war. This week, Graham Allen MP asked him a written question: "What contingencies did he authorise civil servants to make for his resignation before the vote on war with Iraq?" Back came the answer: "None." Comment is superfluous.
