Response to Blair meets Gadaffi

"world politics is not about good and evil"

But tell that to the Bush Administration.

What I understand David to be decrying is the hypocrsy and the "business as usual" of Blair and Bush in regards to Libya.  As long as dictators behave and open their countries and play ball with the west, Democracy seems to become less of a priority.  It is the short-sighted and commercial slant of the Bush/Blair vision that I find objectionable.  It is great that Gadaffi has decided to no longer "officially" pursue WMD.  That is good news for us in the west.  But in terms of the people of Libya and their freedoms (which the pro-war crowd are soooooo interested in in the case of Iraq) how is that progressing?
