"A poem we learned in school concerning our own history could be easily identifiable to any Iraqie fighting for his freedom.
They have raised our proudest castles
Spoilt the temples of the lord
Burnt to dust the sacred relics
Put the peaceful to the sword
Desecrated all things holy
As they soon may do again
If today their power we smite not
If today we be not men."
Wonderful sentiment Michael and as you say. it fits the Iraqi situation so well. I am reminded of the luting of the artifacts and the destruction not only of a culture, but the sure efforts to destroy a people. Justice seems to have fled the worlds psychic in the Bush/Blair stampede.
