Response to Analysis Of The Irish Peace Movement 1 Week Before We Return To Shannon

Just thought I’d add that I am happy to see that you have admitted to be ‘reflecting’ on the anti-war movement rather than analysing it. It’s a good example of how interaction can change our perceptions of what we are doing. I think we’d all get along much better if we just chatted a little more. Of course the self-absorption of reflections are a necessary first step on the way to analysis. But most writers would recognise the danger of being overwhelmed by one’s own beauty if we,  Narcissus-like, were to spend too much time staring into our own visage.

Once again,

Best wishes
