Mr. Khawaja’s daughters, Maryam in the US and Zainab in Bahrain, have confirmed that his life is now at stake and he may go into a coma at any time.
stand with Maryam, Zainab, the people of Bahrain, and concerned activists around the world to demand the release of this "prisoner of conscience, detained solely for exercising his right to freedom of expression," according to Amnesty International.
