• The Embassy of Israel is pleased to announce the biggest showcase of Israeli cinema ever seen in Ireland, a 4-day festival of Israeli film to be held in Dublin on Thursday to Sunday, 24-27 November.
• The venue is Filmbase, located at Curved Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2.
• The gala opening of the festival on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. will be attended by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Eamon Gilmore TD.
• The festival features a unique selection of interesting, exciting Israeli feature and documentary films with English subtitles, several of which have won international awards.
• The festival will include a performance of Israeli rock music with an Irish twist by Izhar Ashdot on Saturday night.
• Visitors to the event will also have the opportunity to taste samples of Israeli culinary specialities.
• Admission to the entire event is free.
• This is an opportunity to see Israel as it is – beyond politics, hostility and empty slogans…
