The Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Cork has organised a protest on Saturday next, January 3rd, at 1.00pm in Daunt’s Square against the Israeli bombing of Gaza.
As of Sunday 27th December at 6.00pm the death toll has risen to 280 dead and over 700 wounded. Hospitals are overflowing and there are virtually no medical supplies. According to Al-Jazeera, as well as police and security centres, the Israeli strikes also targeted a mosque and dozens of civilian homes and facilities.
The Israelis are stating that the bombing will continue and are also threatening a ground assault.
