Protest in solidarity with the brave protesters in Tahrir Square and other Egyptian cities.

One million Egyptians occupied Cairo’s city centre last Friday protesting at the slow pace of reform and calling for the end of the military government. Hundreds stayed on and erected tents in Tahrir Square. On Saturday police moved in violently and cleared the square. On Sunday the protesters re-took the square but were attacked by the police resulting in 20 killed and over 1000 injured according to the Ministry of Health. Police smashed up hospital tents and burned all the tents of the protesters from previous night.
