Artist and peace activist Margaretta D’Arcy (79) was imprisoned in mid-January for refusing to sign a bail bond to keep away from unauthorised zones at Shannon airport, following imposition of a suspended sentence for an incursion of the runway at Shannon on October 7th, 2012.
There will be a protest and march to Mountjoy in support of Margaretta on Sat 22/2/2014 at 2pm. We will be assembeling at the Spire on Dublin’s O’Connell Street at 2pm and marching to Mountjoy prison.
