This is the title and subject of a public meeting to be held this coming Tuesday, 9th August at 8pm in Richardson’s upstairs meeting room. 1, Eyre Square, Galway City.
As revolution spreads across North Africa and the Middle East, as mass movements of resistance break out in Spain and Greece- What can we in Ireland learn?
The Guest Speakers are:
Dr. Saber Elsafty. GP practising in Galway for over 30 years; originally from Egypt, and supporter of the demonstrations that ousted former President- Mubarak
&
John Molyneux. Author; Portsmouth University lecturer, and activist in contact with fellow activists in Cairo.
A pamphlet on “The Egyptian Revolution” by John Molyneaux will be available at the meeting, & also copies of an international petition calling for solidarity with the Independent Trade Unions in Egypt. This is for use in workplaces, councils, trade unions etc…
