Assemble opposite the Olympia Theatre, Dame Street (entrance to Dublin Castle)

Delegations from a total of 26 out of the 28 NATO member states will be present. Only the US and Canada not officially represented.

This is the reality of the Lisbon Treaty in operation – ‘a more assertive Union role in security and defence matters will contribute to the vitality of a renewed Atlantic Alliance’ where EU/NATO external action with probable Irish participation can be planned in Ireland. On Monday, the conference will consider:  A ‘Comprehensive Approach to instability in Africa’.

Please do your best to be there and demonstrate your opposition to this conference, which will be preceded by a meeting of EU foreign ministers on Friday to consider intervention in the Syrian civil war, followed by a meeting of the EU Military Committee on 29th and 30th April and an EU Defence Seminar on 17th May all at Dublin Castle and with full participation of the Irish government.
