The IAWM helped co-found and is part of the Irish Neutrality League (INL) – neutrality.ie – and we are supporting and urging our members to attend this important rally for peace to promote peace and neutrality at 2pm on 10th of May, Gresham Hotel, O’ Connell Street, Dublin 1.
The ‘Public Rally for Peace: Save the Triple Lock – Save Neutrality’ will include speakers from across the opposition parties and independent parliamentarians.
In addition to speeches by cross party and independent TDs and Senators there will be music and performances from Lisa O’Neill and other artists.
This event is part of a campaign of activities nationwide in opposition to government plans to get rid of the triple lock and undermine Ireland’s proud tradition of neutrality.
Please come along and help us build a broad-based movement for saving the Triple Lock, protecting and enhancing Ireland’s neutrality and pressurising the Irish Government to promote peace in the world instead of wars and militarism.
