Front Line would like to invite you to attend the opening of “Defending Hope in Gaza”, a photographic exhibition which shows how the people of Gaza are bravely struggling to survive, while the work of human rights defenders is restricted by limitations on freedom of movement.
On 27 December 2008, the Israeli Defence Forces launched Operation Cast Lead on the Gaza Strip, with devastating consequences for the civilian population. In the aftermath of the destruction, human rights defenders in Gaza continue to defend the hope of the Palestinian people for a future based on peace and justice.
The exhibition will be opened by Mr Proinsias de Rossa MEP.
6.30pm, Monday 11 January 2010
Filmbase, Curved Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2
The exhibition will run from 11 January to 22 January inclusive

Note: This exhibition organised by Front Line Defenders –http://www.frontlinedefenders.org – and is not an IPSC event, though we of course encourage all our members and supporters in Dublin to attend.
