Great news:
Hopefully this is an end to the terrible treatment that Omar Deghayes, the British resident that was detained in guantanamo, and his family have faced.
At last this innocent man shall have electronic tags removed from his body, an imposed curfew withdrawn, and he should have the right to travel like all free human beings should take for granted.
Fellow Guantanamo inmate jamil has also had his extradition case dropped!

Well done to all campaigners and supporters for sticking it out. If we all got dissillusioned and gave up, we wouldn’t have had even the modest successess we’ve had to date, and others would suffer. Contingent s to the World Against War demonstration on Saturday 15th March- we can now go on forwards working to get rendition flights out of Irish air space, US troops out of Shannon, all captives released from Guantanamo, and torture prison camps closed!
