Want to learn more about the political situation in the Middle East, but don’t know where to begin?

This Sunday January 17th at 2pm, John Molyneux will be giving a workshop ‘Understanding the Middle East : an Introduction in association with the Irish Anti-War Movement.
Here, we will discuss- What are the factors that have led to the current crisis?
What is the legacy of Western Intervention?
Is the conflict actually about Sunni and Shia sectarianism?
Will Airstrikes stop Isis?
Come along and ask your questions in a safe, non- judgemental space where you will have the chance to learn the facts of the region and discuss the current crisis in the Middle East, with particular emphasis on the current situation in Syria.
No question is too simple or obvious- this is your time – for you to get your head around a complex political situation!
