IAWM Steering Committee


The IAWM Steering Committee is looking for a volunteer committed to the principles of the IAWM to act as a part-time administrator/coordinator under the direction of, and with, the Steering Committee, who can dedicate 10 to 15 hours a week progressing action towards organisational goals.

A regular weekly stipend will be provided by the IAWM to cover expenses. Applicants must be signed up members of the IAWM, and must fully concur with the aspirations of the movement as outlined in the constitution (copy attached).

Applicants should be good team players. Might suit student, unemployed, partially employed, or retired person. Varied tasks may include helping with such activities as updating our database, chasing donations, producing posters, leaflets and brochures, developing the website, organising events or other tasks as agreed with the SC.

Person will also be required to attend the Steering Committee meetings (approximately twice monthly). Applicants must have own computer (or easy access to one), full broadband access and have good skills in writing, typing, email and Internet usage. Skills in desktop publishing and/or graphics would be an advantage. 

There is no IAWM office at present so it is envisaged that this volunteer would work from home in the short term.
